Rather than building a single company, Tanya envisioned an interconnected enterprise where creativity, entrepreneurship, innovation, and strategic investment would work together to create lasting value across multiple industries.
That vision became Tandi Enterprises Holding (TEH).
Today, TEH serves as the parent enterprise for a growing portfolio of companies spanning entertainment, media, fashion, publishing, commercial development, education, strategic investments, and community initiatives. About Tandiland Ventures LLC
For nearly 40 years, Tanya M. Dixon has built a career defined by creativity, entrepreneurship, and visionary leadership. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tandi Enterprises Holding (TEH), she leads a diversified enterprise dedicated to developing original intellectual property and building world-class brands across entertainment, media, fashion, publishing, education, commercial development, and community impact.
Her professional journey began in 1988 in Austin, Texas, where she entered the entertainment industry as an entertainment journalist, radio personality, and music director. Her passion for storytelling soon expanded into television, where she developed a reputation for creating compelling programming and innovative multimedia productions. In 1992, she launched the Tandi brand, laying the foundation for what has grown into a dynamic family of companies spanning multiple industries.
Throughout her career, Tanya has served as a producer, director, writer, editor, broadcaster, and executive producer, creating award-winning television programs, documentaries, commercials, music videos, and multimedia campaigns for broadcast networks, corporate organizations, nonprofit institutions, and entertainment clients nationwide. Her productions have aired on networks including FOX, Warner Bros., and UPN, while her work has featured internationally respected voices such as Dr. Maya Angelou, Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys, Ice Cube, John Legend, Luther Vandross, and LL Cool J., among many others.
Her commitment to creative excellence has earned nine television awards, national recognition in TV Guide and Black Enterprise, and numerous honors celebrating innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship. In 2019, Tanya was honored as Entrepreneur of the Year by ACHI Magazine, recognizing not only her accomplishments as a creative professional, but also her success in building and leading sustainable businesses.
Today, Tanya's vision extends far beyond traditional media production. As the architect of Tandi Enterprises Holding, she is leading the strategic development of an integrated ecosystem of companies that includes Tandiland Global Productions, Tandiland Global Investments, Tandiland Ventures LLC, Tandiland Media Network (TMN), Maison Tandi, Cheeky Sleek & Chic, and the Tandiland Serenity Foundation. Each organization has a distinct mission while contributing to a shared vision of developing original intellectual property, creating sustainable enterprises, and generating long-term economic and community impact.
Through Maison Tandi, Tanya expanded the enterprise into the luxury fashion industry, introducing original lifestyle collections and the VELOCÉ Collection, highlighted by the Italian-crafted VELOCÉ Flux sneaker. This expansion reflects her belief that creativity has no boundaries and that strong brands can successfully bridge multiple industries while remaining rooted in purpose, innovation, and quality.
Her long-term vision also includes the development of Tandiland Studios, a next-generation creative campus in Atlanta designed to unite film, television, music, animation, publishing, education, digital media, and live experiences within one collaborative destination. More than a production facility, Tandiland Studios is envisioned as a catalyst for innovation, workforce development, entrepreneurship, and economic growth.
Tanya holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Morris Brown College, where she strengthened the leadership and business principles that continue to guide her entrepreneurial journey. Her philosophy has remained consistent throughout nearly four decades of professional experience: great organizations are built through integrity, innovation, strategic vision, and an unwavering commitment to creating opportunities for others.
Today, Tanya continues to lead the expansion of the Tandiland ecosystem through strategic partnerships, original content, luxury consumer brands, and transformative creative infrastructure. Her mission is not simply to produce stories, but to build the organizations, platforms, and opportunities that empower future generations of creators, entrepreneurs, and visionaries.
